Every visit is performed by a Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C). We do not use rotating nursing staff, you get provider-level care at every appointment.

We make the referral process easy. Just send us the patient’s demographics, insurance information, and a brief note about the wound type, size, and duration. Our team will review for clinical fit and verify insurance coverage - then we’ll take it from there.

We aim for same-week visits. After receiving a referral, we contact the patient the same day and typically schedule within 3–5 business days.

Yes - we’re happy to verify your insurance coverage. While many traditional commercial plans don’t currently cover advanced wound care, we’re actively working to expand our network so we can serve more patients over time.

As of February 23rd, 2026, Clinic 5C Wound Care has changed its name to NW Wound Specialists. However, the same wound care providers, leadership, and services are stiill offered under this new name.
