FAQ's

Frequently Ask Question

Where Will I Receive My Treatment?

Your NW Wound Specialist provider delivers weekly treatments wherever you live - whether that's your personal residence, an assisted living community, or a skilled nursing or long-term care facility.

Does Medicare pay for my treatments?

NW Wound Specialists accepts most Medicare plans. If you’re unsure about your coverage, our team is here to walk you through the details and answer any questions.

How can I refer a patient?

We make the referral process easy. Just send us the patient’s demographics, insurance information, and a brief note about the wound type, size, and duration. Our team will review for clinical fit and verify insurance coverage - then we’ll take it from there.

Do you coordinate with other care team members?

Yes. NW Wound Specialists works closely with your current healthcare providers to ensure your care is coordinated and consistent. We keep your care team informed with regular updates, so everyone stays aligned on your healing progress.

Will you accept traditional health insurance?

Yes - we’re happy to verify your insurance coverage. While many traditional commercial plans don’t currently cover advanced wound care, we’re actively working to expand our network so we can serve more patients over time.
